PTT Phenol Company Limited, an affliate of the PTT Group, manufactures and distributes petrochemical products that aim to be the largest and the most integrated phenol chain product supplier in Southeast Asia. PTT Phenol has the main mission on environmental preservation since its establishment in 2001 started from implanting in employees’ habit and then extending outside. We were asked to design a premium gift for media, partners and related sectors on New Year’s occasion with the environmental saving concept.

We came up with an idea of “Think Save Forward” to raise the environmental awareness of the receivers and encourage them to give back to earth as well as to forward this attitude to others. The messages are weaved through three sets of eco-friendly products, reusable mugs, rechargeable batteries and tote bags where each set carries its own special communication. For Think, the word “Think” and “Green” has been screened on the surface of each mug to inspire the receiver to switch from disposable to reusable mug whenever they crave coee or some drinks. The more you use, the more you save the world motto expands the latter idea, “Save”, represented by a set of rechargeable batteries and chargers.Lastly, “Forward” is an act of spreading this green idea across to other people, so we chose a tote bag because of its promotional value while also having the potential to improve the world. The packaging features typography, formed by graphic elements and icons, projecting a wide range of earth related organisms and objects. The taglines, “Think Green, Make a difference for a better life”, “Saving the world is saving our future” and “store your Green idea forward and enjoy a better world” helps indicate the purpose of this project as well as share PTT Phenol’s mission on creating less impact environment.
