IPST Schoolbook Design Guideline

IPST, the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology, is a Thai Government educational organization who is responsible for publishing school books in many subjects such as Science, Maths, ICT and Computing Science to Thai students from Year 1-12. In 2018, IPST decided to develop its curriculum and have an identity system made to create a learning experience for students by using Design and Technology as a tool.

Learning is inevitably a part of our lives; therefore, the books were designed to echo the involvement of knowledge in daily lives or at least to be inclined with students’ interest. For example, we illustrated the multiplying zombies to link with multiply exponent on the cover of the Math book. We based our idea of illustrations and layout on different types of art to fit with students of different ages.
