Borders - Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow

17-22 September 2017 at AGI Congress Paris, France

In every AGI Open, a Poster exhibition invites AGI members from all over the world to design and exhibit under the assigned annual theme. The 2017 edition was held in Paris with the theme “Borders - yesterday, today, tomorrow” to challenge members’ visions and aspects on the belief that an unprejudiced mind to connect the whole world as one is the most important condition when you work in Graphic Design.

Attariya submitted a design for this exhibition with the notion that “Borders” is man-made. In the past, our society was formed with an obscured boundary. Today, however, that obscurity is much more defined and objectified. While the internet movement will break all the existing boundary and push us toward a borderless future.

Attariya’s poster communicate through simple design and typography to show the clarity yet vagueness of the word “Borders” like the passing of time. The design piece was exhibited with 123 AGI members on 17-22 September 2017 in Paris, France.
