Art/Ed CU 50++ Exhibition

When the Department of Art Education, Faculty of Education at Chulalongkorn University, the most prestigious institute, celebrates their 50th anniversary, they wanted to organize an exhibition to share the story throughout 50 years of producing art educators for all ages, their distinctive program and showcasing the most distinguished alumni in various fields. Their unconventional BA program combines 2 major subjects fo study, education and visual art. While the education enables graduate basis of academic knowledge, learning and researching skill, psychological theory in human development, the visual art covers both theory and practice in numerous art fields including Fine Arts (Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Printmaking, etc.), Applied Art (Graphic, Interior and Product Design); also Crafts (Wood and Metal).

Art ED CU 50++ Exhibition Design embodied the faculty practice with 2 sets of contents and characters twined together to reflect the idea of having both sides of the brain developed while studying here. The left brain is responsible for logical thinking like a teacher whereas the right side performs creatively like an artist. The exhibition portrayed the solemn character of the teacher through academic content with neat typesetting and the fun and playful character of the artist through handwriting. The exhibition featured tools and pieces of equipment in their daily practice such as slide projector, easel and sculpting Tables ie.
